Can You Top This?

Since starting this blog, I have been hoping to collect some unique wedding ideas. Well, I certainly saw a unique idea this morning on the Today Show.

The ceremony was conducted while the bride, groom, and minister were standing on top of the wings of 3 separate biplanes as the planes flew in formation. It was amazing. They started the ceremony on the ground, then strapped themselves onto the 3 planes and took off. They finished the ceremony with a ring exchange and kiss back on the ground!

I would imagine that finding the minister willing to perform this ceremony might have been a challenge!

    Hi,

Sorry I have not been able to post or get over here sooner. Been kinda under the weather for awhile. Tonight is my first night back. Thanks for visiting.

Your blog is lovely. I can’t wait to read more of your posts.

I saw them on the plane too..can you believe it? Now that takes some wind tolerence! LOL! Not to mention heights..the groom did say he got over that sometime ago however. It’s a good thing.

I would guess the Minister had to be an a daring fellow.:) Bet it was a challenge!

    See ya soon

I can’t top that. But when I was in ministry, I performed a wedding on a party boat out near Las Vegas. The bride and groom were good friends and paid for my travel and hotel so that I could do their ceremony. It was a blast!

How fun! I bet a wedding on a boat would be beautiful.

I saw that too! As I watched, I wondered what exactly are their occupations? I’m always trying new things….working on my bucket list, BUT I think I’ll pass on riding the wings of a plane! Love your blog. I agree, it is lovely and informative. I’ve created a link to your blog in the Brides section of http://www.makeupandbeyond.com.
